Overview
Notifications help you keep track of items that need review, items InvestSync has handled, and activity that may need a team member to check. Use the bell icon for a quick view, or open the Notifications page for the full list across your organisations.Open notifications
Select the bell icon in the top bar to see recent notifications. The bell shows unread items across your organisations, so you can spot important activity without switching workspaces first. Select View all notifications to open the full Notifications page. When you are using InvestSync, new in-app notifications can also appear as a small toast. Select the toast to open the item it relates to, such as an email item awaiting approval.Review across organisations
The Notifications page groups activity by organisation. Use the organisation list to focus on one organisation, or keep All organisations selected to review everything together. Each notification shows:- The organisation it belongs to.
- The type of activity.
- The title and summary.
- When it was received.
- Whether it is unread.
Work through unread items
Use Unread only to focus on items that still need attention. Select Open when a notification links to related work, such as an email item awaiting approval. InvestSync marks the notification as read when you open it. Use Mark read for an item that does not need further action. Use Mark all read when the visible list has been reviewed.Notification preferences
Open the bell icon and select the settings button to manage preferences for the current organisation. You can choose whether each notification type appears in the app and whether email notifications are sent immediately, as a digest, or not at all. Preferences are saved for you and the current organisation only.Good practice
Check unread items first
Start with unread notifications so time-sensitive reviews are less likely
to be missed.
Use organisation filters
Filter by organisation when you are working through one client or entity at
a time.
